Paulina has been Director General of Studio XX, Canada’s foremost feminist artist-run centre for technological research, production and critique since 2007.
She is the current President of Femmes du cinéma, de la télévision et des nouveaux médias Montreal (FCTNM) and Chair of the English Language Arts Networks (ELAN) Advisory Board.
Director, Producer and Actor, Paulina is graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada.
Artistic Director of Montreal’s Street People Theatre Company from 1984-1997, Paulina was Assistant Director at The Stratford Festival in 1992. In 1995, she was Intern Director at The Shaw Festival where she directed the Canadian premiere of Virginia Woolf`s Freshwater. She has extensive directing and acting experience in film, television and theatre both across Canada and abroad.
Transitioning into communications and the digital arts in 2000, she held positions as Executive Producer at Darwin Dimensions / Hexagram (virtual characters); Director of Development at Big Bang FX/Animation; as Producer at CD MED; as Distribution and Marketing Executive at Motion International’s Imax Unit; as Associate Producer at Cinéfort Inc.; as Media Correspondent at Just Magazine and as Producer of Women in Film and Television International’s Short Film Showcase from 2005-2007.
She is a member of UDA, ACTRA and CAEA.
