bootlab e.V.
Situated in the Berlin-Mitte, bootlab e.V. is housed in the former Telegraphy Centre of Berlin, which has also served as the headquarters for the East German Telecom. bootlab has realised a number of projects which investigate different technological realities ranging from VJ collectives, experimental audio archives, the FACES mailing list for women in media, software development and alternative radio. It organises public and semi-public lectures, workshops and screenings related to media art and culture; past themes have dealt with acsii strategies, surveillance, cyberfeminism and wifi.
