Studio XX
Founded in Montreal in 1995, Studio XX distinguishes itself as a media arts and resource centre for women whose mandate is based upon feminist readings of the relationships that women foster with new technologies in their contribution to artistic and communications fields.
Through a range of activities, Studio XX accompanies women and artists in their appropriation of digital tools and media. The Studio supports initiatives which expose the stakes specific to the Net, facilitating new phenomenas of networked collaborations, and furthering new civic states and digital democracies.
